VI CREATIVE INDUSTRY DAY IN IRUN FACTORY
Last Friday we moved to Irun Factory with several characters from the movie “Elcano and Magellan, The First Voyage Around the World” and Yoko and his friends, Vik, Oto and Mai. Invited by Bitamine Faktoria and Irun city council, we participated in the 6th edition of the Creative Industry Workshop together with 5 other companies, an appointment where we presented our experiences around the innovation and creativity of our projects.
The day opened its doors at 10.00. Many people came to show their interest on the different companies, especially young people of creative degrees or careers who requested detailed information about the activity of each company or the different specialization paths to professionalize themselves in the different types of projects we present there. Many young people came to us to ask about schools or institutes where they could study animation. They were also very interested in the intricacies of the process of creating the film about the first voyage around the world and the children’s serie Yoko.
Dibulitoon Studio was accompanied by Deriva Sailmakers, a family sailboat factory reconverted as a product workshop from nautical fabrics; Eureka Reziklarte, a shop of furniture and objects of vintage style; Hartea, business halfway between innovation and crafts; Lufe furniture, a factory and online store; and Undermount, a cultural breeding ground for creation and contemporaneity.
