The animated film Elcano, The First Voyage around the World and the distribution companies Barton and Filmax have walked successfully together along the red carpet of Zinemaldia. Taking advantage of the great cinematographic gathering that takes place in Donostia (San Sebastian) every year, those in charge from the two distribution companies and Dibulitoon Studio, the company producing the movie, have already agreed over the details for the distribution at the national level of the feature film that narrates the heroic deed of the first circumnavigation in history.
The film will premiere in both Spanish and Basque in 2019… yes, some might think it is a little bit early to make this announcement, but Elcano, Magellan and the rest of the animated characters are already warming up to sneak into countless theater houses and surprise viewers.
